Katie Youwe

Three things that motivate me in life are knowledge, meeting new people, and happiness!  I believe that it is important to live a life as full as you can in a sustainable way, taking into consideration the ecological footprint that you are leaving behind.

 

​Travel has been a way of life for me since I was eighteen, and I believe it to be fully contributed to my choice to study geography and environmental studies at Thompson Rivers University. I love adventuring outdoors and have a keen interest in all aspects of physical geography. 

 

I believe that what you learn about yourself and the world around you as your travel is very worthy.  I am certain that the more you see, the more you feel you need to see and learn.  In my quest to be a lifelong learner I hope to keep exploring new places through both professional and personal experiences.
